Earlier this week, it was revealed that Olympic eventing coach Yogi Breisner would be overseeing Kauto's retraining as a dressage horse, and yesterday (11 December) it was announced that 23-year-old event rider Laura Collett would have the ride. 

Laura soon tweeted: "I feel very privileged and extremely honoured to have been asked to ride Kauto Star".

She has since posted pictures of the racing megastar at her yard in Wiltshire, where already he seems to be working nicely on the flat. There has already been some speculation about whether the horse is being aimed at eventing in the long run.
